The holiday break is over. Tomorrow the hubby heads back to work and the little one heads back to school. I am not looking forward to missing them but I will be able to get to my routine. That means, tomorrow is laundry day. YaY! What fun! I also have a few errands to run, start my new workout routine and go shopping so that I can cook dinner…we had leftovers and ate out a lot of the last week. I am sure there are about a ten other things I need to do but can’t really think of right now.
I have actually stitched in the last couple of days, but not made a ton of progress. But I am stitching, so that is good. Hoping to keep that up.
This week is going to be so busy. I have things to do tomorrow. Tuesday I volunteer at school. Wednesday is PTA meeting. Thursday is the kick-off for the Read-A-Thon, plus I have to take Hannah to TKD. Friday is movie night. Saturday I have to bake, bake and bake some more for the Church social on Sunday. Hannah’s Sunday School class is hosting. Sunday is hosting the social. Well, I am not hosting, but Hannah’s Sunday School Class is…so other parents will be there, too. Saturday is also Sean’s company’s holiday party.
Plus I have the regular day to day things during the week that still need to be done…cleaning, cooking, doing the checkbook, paying the bills, still trying to get the house back together after the holidays, sorting thru stuff and purging, you know…A woman’s work is never done.
But I do have a new "helper" for the baking. Sean got me this lovely wonderful New Year’s gift that I have been wanting for as long as I can remember. I really could have used this the other day when I was making the Cowboy Cookies, but it sure will come in handy Saturday.
WONDERFUL mixer….I received this one as a gift in November and used it for my holiday baking. You will LOVE using this mixer!! What color did you get?KarenP
