I have really been enjoying stitching on A Good Marriage project.  I am looking forward to stitching some of the ABC’s Lessons after this one.

So the veggie/gluten-free gnocchi dish was pretty good.  My friend Wendy made an awesome salad with cauliflower and pears in it… YUMMY… and Symya made Sweet Potato Brownies that were delicious.  Sean and I went out with our friends and had a blast.  It was a much-needed night out.

Valentine was perfect this year, but since I married the man I did, everyday is like Valentine for us.  We went to Panera for soup and sandwiches then to Cold Stone for ice cream.  Sean had a Ediable Arrangement delivered with chocolate covered strawberries that we shared last night and tonight.  And I picked up a character cookie for Hannah.  She loves these cookies and her favorite flower… just happens to be the rose.

Just a quick update

I thought I would post a quick update of the Going Green project.

I have a busy weekend ahead.  Lunch today with my friends, Kim and Robyn.  Robyn is visiting for California. We haven’t seen her in a year & a half cuz her hubby got a job out on the west coast and she decided to move out there with him. Phfff. Whateve! Hope she is happy with all that sunshine.  🙂

Tomorrow is our scheduled stitching day with my friends, Wendy and Symya.  We make a whole day out of it and each brings a course for lunch.  This time I have the entrée.  I am making a new recipe I saw on the Today Show that is vegetarian.  Symya’s husband joins us for lunch and he is a vegetarian, so we try to make something he will eat as well.  I am also making this dish a gluten-free version.  I am hoping it is good since I have never made it before.  “fingers crossed”    I plan on stitching on A Good Marriage.

Then tomorrow night Sean and I are hopefully going out with Robyn and her “let’s move to the west coast” hubby, Erik.  (BTW, he is the from the west coast but again, whateve!)

What I want to be doing

I haven’t been stitching much on the L*K Going Green Flip its project because I really want to stitch on the A Good Marriage project, but can’t when the hubby is home.  I have been stitching on it in the afternoons while Sean is at work and I love it!  It is such a great piece.
